Aluminum anodes are for use in all types of water:  Salt, Brackish, and Fresh.  They are an excellent alternative to zinc anodes and your best choice for a vessel operating in Salt and/or Brackish water.  All of our aluminum anodes are manufactured with U.S. MIL-DTL-24779D(SH) Conventional alloy.
